Edinburgh Fringe - When It Rains

It started off with the Royal Mile. Filled with smiling faces and wonder at all the acts that were there to make friends, we navigated our way though to the stage - trying not to accidentally stab anyone with our giant sign. We performed on the Upper Stage and our amazing Peter Pan friends (who saw our show more than once and brought friends) helped us pass out flyers for our show because they are so so sooooooo wonderful.

After meeting a population of a not-so-small village worth of people, and handing out A LOT of flyers for the show, we visited our favourite printing shop and Filament Coffee so we could do more stapling. Lots and lots and hours of stapling. Well, Morro did stapling...  Jasp went to see a show that Morro had seen in Toronto already. It's a super awesome show called The Orchid and the Crow. Jasp loved it, just like Morro knew she would. BECAUSE IT'S BEAUTIFUL!

We got our game faces on to flyer before the show. Some security guard at the fringe called us "Crusty and Coo-coo" so we had to buy a brownie to eat our feelings because he was a security guard so we didn't want to fight him. We saw our friends Chuck and Charlie and then we saw Teenstache who now calls us his friend - Yay!

The fringe vibe was a party one last night even though it was raining THE MOST since we have arrived. It was Saturday night after all and everyone came out to play and even brought their pets - Like actually for realz. Morro got to make friends with a Ferret named "Bad", maybe because he smelled really bad like urine. He was really cute if you plug your nose. Jasp thought he was nasty but Morro makes friends with all animals even the smelly ones.

While we were flyering we saw a bunch of friends including Daniel (who is in The Orchid and the Crow) and got to hang out, which made it so much more fun. Then suddenly a group of people came up and told us that they had just tried buy tickets for our show but it was SOLD OUT! It was the best. Not for them and we felt sad that they couldn't come to the show (hopefully they can come another night), but we were really excited that we would get to play with a full house of wonderful people.

Also, during the show Morro's fish joke got a cheer so that was great.

Tomorrow we will wake up early to go to a big industry brunch and meet presenters from around the world. Eeeeeek!!!!!
